南方帕斯塔薩克丘亞語

本季度，當翻譯團隊向社區分享《哥林多前書》15章58節的譯本時，他們感受到神的鼓勵。經文鼓勵我們：「要站穩，不可動搖。要不辭勞苦地為主工作；因為我們知道，為主工作絕不會是徒然的。」在翻譯過程中的疲憊與各種挑戰中，這段經文不但堅固了各社區，也堅固了翻譯團隊。當看見弟兄姊妹們能夠以自己的語言理解並接受上帝的信息，便重燃我們繼續翻譯上帝話語的熱情。 ——南方帕斯塔薩克丘亞語翻譯員 里弗·穆庫舒阿 River Mucushua, translator Pastaza Sur。

當地教會與政府部門和社區合作，為領袖培訓和翻譯活動提供支援。教會成員捐贈大蕉、木薯、魚、雞肉、米等食物和其他產品，並協助烹飪和清潔工作。他們讓來自其他社區的參與者到他們家中和社區中心住宿。這些支持都為活動順利舉行幫助不少。 —— 南方克丘亞語翻譯員 費利克斯‧庫埃拉納里。

北部帕斯塔薩克丘亞語

當地社區對本季的翻譯事工展現令人鼓舞的迴響。在青年營中，年輕人之間更加團結合一，他們都充滿喜悅和熱情用自己的語言分享神的話語。在社區聚會中，一些家庭表示他們已放下一些從前對聖經的成見，開始更加重視聖經的教導。在一些群體中，我們也觀察到衝突減少了，因為神的話語給人帶來和平與盼望。整體來說，翻譯事工已開始增強社區的文化和屬靈意識，鼓勵他們繼續在信仰和服事中彼此扶持。—— 北部帕斯塔薩克丘亞語翻譯員 里弗·穆庫舒阿 River Mucushua, translator Pastaza Norte。

在重新研讀《加拉太書》3章2節時，Isabel Mucushua Sandi姊妹分享了一段令翻譯團隊非常受鼓勵的話。她在北帕斯塔薩以克丘亞語聽到這段經文後，她清楚明白使徒保羅提出的問題：領受聖靈不是靠遵守律法，也不是靠行為，而是信靠耶穌基督。

• 請為翻譯員及其家人祈禱，願上帝賜給他們健康，眷顧他們，鞏固他們的屬靈生命，使他們能夠繼續滿懷熱情和服事的精神為神工作。

• 請為正在接受培訓的主日學領袖和導師們祈禱，求神堅固他們的信仰，願聖經的知識不斷增長，使他們能夠給他們的社區更好的服事，鼓勵其他人參與事工。

原住民倡議

ᐊᓂᐦᔑᓂᓃᒧᐏᐣ – Anishiniimowin (Oji-Cree)

Matt Windsor分享：「《約翰福音》正處於出版前的最後階段！在五月的時候，我們的威克里夫翻譯顧問Meg已審核了最後幾章，長老的審核工作亦隨之完成。接下來我們將與Jessie進行錄音工作，把書稿仔細校對一遍。」

禱告事項：

• 為這些社區中持續的壓抑聖靈的風氣祈禱。

• 上帝將吸引更多人以母語來接觸神的話。

• 為Jessie的母親 Kanina祈禱。Kanina 肺部積水，仍繼續照常幫忙翻譯工作，求主記念她有適切的醫治和休息。也為Jessie、Yvonne、孩子和他們的家人祈禱。

同樣，我們的軟弱有聖靈幫助。我們本不知道當怎樣禱告，但是聖靈親自用無可言喻的歎息替我們祈求。 ——羅馬書 8:26

ᐃᔪᐤ ᐃᔨᒧᐅᓐ – Iyuw Iyimoun – Naskapi

Bill Jancewicz 分享：「翻譯團隊成員Silas & Susan  Nabinicaboo夫婦最近翻譯工作的進度加快了。2026年2月，他們開始翻譯及回譯《耶利米書》1364節經文[聖經中最長的書卷]，本月已經完成。他們現正著手《耶利米哀歌》的翻譯。這是一個令人非常鼓舞的里程碑！按照他們目前的速度，整本聖經的初稿及回譯可望於兩年左右完成！」

禱告事項：

感謝主納斯卡皮團隊Naskapi Team的工作以及上帝對他們的供應。求主敞開納斯卡皮人Naskapi的心扉，對神的話語有持續的渴慕。為即將進行的翻譯項目的目標祈禱：《民數記》將需要顧問審核、《利未記》正著手初稿和回譯，《申命記》將有團隊審核和排版工作，以及委員會需再審核《士師記》。

創傷療癒

創傷療癒協調員Robyn Kunz分享：「四月和五月期間，我們很高興看到來自馬斯克瓦西斯（Maskwacis）和西克西卡（Siksika）療癒小組的幾位參與者，表示有興趣成為以聖經為基礎的創傷療癒小組的協調員。早前有五位女士參加持續的培訓，她們渴望在各自的社區分享創傷療癒這個項目。祈求上帝賜給他們健康、力量和方向，幫助他們組織第一之小組聚會。

「把握時機 Kairos」宣教生命課程 - 2026年9-11月

了解神對萬族的心意 . 重新調整你的人生使命

「把握時機」是一個由九個單元組成的基督徒生命宣教課程，讓參與者從聖經、歷史、策略、文化四個層面，認識神救贖的大圖畫，並思考自己在其中的位置。

課程以互動式學習為主，包括聚焦禱告、課文閱讀、小組分享、靈修主題、錄像教學及跨文化體驗活動，幫助你調整人生方向，回應神對萬族的心意，活出更深、更廣的信仰生命。

課程語言：粵語 (繁體中文教材)

日期：2026年9月14日至11月7日 (週一或週六)

Southern Pastaza Quechua

During this quarter, the team felt God's encouragement as they shared with the communities the translated portion of 1 Corinthians 15:58, where we are encouraged “to remain steadfast, immovable, and to continue serving the Lord, because our work for Him is never in vain.” Amid the weariness and challenges of the translation process, this passage strengthened both the communities and the team itself. Seeing how the brothers and sisters understood and received this message in their own language renewed our enthusiasm to continue translating God's Word. – River Mucushua, translator Pastaza Sur

The local church coordinates with authorities and the community to provide support during leadership training and translation activities. Members contribute food such as plantains, yucca, fish, chicken, rice, and other products, in addition to helping with cooking and cleaning. They also provide lodging in their homes and community centers for participants arriving from other communities. Goals

• Continue with the progress of the first draft of the books of 1 Timothy, 2 Timothy, Titus, Philemon, and Hebrews.

• Continue with the progress of the team review of the books of 1 Thessalonians, 2 Thessalonians, 1 Timothy, 2 Timothy, Titus and Philemon.

• Continue with the progress of the native speaker check of the books of 1 Thessalonians, 2 Thessalonians, 1 Timothy, 2 Timothy and Titus.

• Continue with the progress of incorporating notes from the book of Philippians, Colossians, 1 Thessalonians, 2 Thessalonians.

Northern Pastaza Quechua

During this quarter, the community has shown very encouraging responses thanks to the translation ministry. At youth camps, there was greater unity among the young people, who enthusiastically and joyfully shared God's Word in their own languages. In community gatherings, several families expressed that they had left behind some misconceptions and begun to value biblical teachings more. A decrease in conflict was also observed in some groups, as God's Word has brought peace and hope. Overall, the translation has strengthened the community's cultural and spiritual identity, encouraging them to continue walking together in faith and service. — River Mucushua, Translator of Quechua Pastaza Norte.

During the review of Galatians 3:2, Sister Isabel Mucushua Sandi shared a comment that greatly encouraged the team. Upon hearing the passage in Quechua from Northern Pastaza, she clearly understood the question posed by the Apostle Paul: that the Holy Spirit is not received by keeping the law nor by works, but by faith in Jesus Christ.

The sister expressed her joy at understanding this message in her own language and commented that the passage now made much more sense to her. She also encouraged us to continue with the translation, because she believes that many people will be able to better understand God's Word by reading it in their native tongue.

Goals

Continue with the progress of the first draft of the books of Colossians, 1 Thessalonians, 2 Thessalonians, 1 Timothy, 2 Timothy, Titus, and Philemon.

Prayer Updates

May God grant the translators and their families, health, watch over them each day, and strengthen their spiritual lives, so that they may continue to serve with enthusiasm and commitment.

Pray for the Sunday school leaders and teachers who are receiving training, that their faith may be strengthened, they may grow in the knowledge of the Word, and they may be able to better serve their communities, also involving more people.

May the Quechua churches of Pastaza be a constant support to the team of translators and the consultant, especially in prayer, and that together they may continue to strengthen the work of God in their communities.

Indigenous Initiatives

ᐊᓂᐦᔑᓂᓃᒧᐏᐣ – Anishininiimowin (Oji-Cree)

Matt Windsor shares: “the Gospel of John is now in the final phase before publication! In May we reviewed the last chapters with our Wycliffe translation consultant, Meg, and soon afterwards we finished reviewing with the elders. Next we’ll [do]an audio recording of the book with Jessie and giving it a thorough proofread.”

Prayer Updates:

• Pray against the ongoing spiritual oppression in these communities.

• Pray that God will draw in people to engage with His word in their language.

• Pray for Jessie and Yvonne and their families. Jessie would like prayer for her mother, Kanina, who has fluid in her lungs and continues to help with the translation regularly. And for their kids and grand kids.

Likewise the Spirit helps us in our weakness. For we do not know what to pray for as we ought, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words. - Romans 8:26

ᐃᔪᐤ ᐃᔨᒧᐅᓐ – Iyuw Iyimuuun – Naskapi

Bill Jancewicz shares: “husband and wife translation team members Silas & Susan  Nabinicaboo have accelerated their engagement in translating… [in] February 2026 they started to work on translating and back-translating the 1364 verses of the book of Jeremiah [the longest book in the Bible]. This month they finished… [and] moved right on to Lamentations… This is a very encouraging milestone! At their current pace, it is possible to have the whole Bible finished in first draft (and back-translated) in about two more years of work!”

Prayer updates:

Thank God for the work of the Naskapi Team and God's provision for them. Pray for open hearts and a continued hunger for the Word of God in Naskapi. Pray for the upcoming goals of consultant-checking for Numbers, first draft and back translation for Leviticus, team checking for Deuteronomy and typesetting and committee review for Judges.

Trauma Healing

Robyn Kunz, Trauma Healing coordinator, shares: “We were pleased to have several participants from the Maskwacis and Siksika healing groups in April and May express interest in becoming facilitators in Bible-based trauma healing. Five ladies participated in the subsequent training this past weekend and are keen to share this program in their communities. Please pray for God's health, strength and direction as they organize their first groups.”
