東拉瓦

讚美神！東拉瓦翻譯團隊已於5月29日至6月3日為《彼得前書》和《彼得後書》進行社區測試。測試在翻譯辦公室進行，大家都很樂於參與。他們將測驗結果彙整後用於修訂這兩卷書的譯文。

感謝主！

• 準備《雅各書》的顧問審查工作已完成。

• 團隊繼續在當地教會的每次聚會中使用拉瓦族的歌曲集。在主日早晨或週間的家庭小組聚會中，他們都使用翻譯的經文。

• 5月6日，在貢洛伊村舉辦了一個小型兒童夏令營。當日大約有30名兒童參加，他們都開心雀躍地玩遊戲，學習閱讀拉瓦語，並學習演奏樂器。

團隊的目標：

• 待《雅各書》的顧問審查工作完成後，將準備《雅各書》錄音和應用程式的製作及印刷版本。

剛果民主共和國 DRC-Bali

 感謝峇里社區分享一些鼓勵性的說話！巴夫瓦森德Bafwasende 地區行政長官阿馬米先生Amami說：「翻譯工作是一個很好的事工，但非常複雜。沒有上帝的幫助……沒有人能在這事工取得成功。」

• 保護巴夫瓦森德Bafwasende棕櫚林並種植棕櫚樹。

• 提高尼亞尼亞Nia-Nia週邊教堂的峇里語識字意識。

泰北蘭納

我們都很享受團隊跟我們分享了這個美好的故事。

在清邁聖安德烈教堂這個溫暖的大家庭裡，有五個來自蘭納兒童俱樂部 Lanna Kids Club的孩子，他們是希望的燈塔。他們從接受耶穌進入他們的內心，便開始他們的屬靈之旅。在 Oi（蘭納項目經理）的帶領下，他們亦虔誠地每週日參加教堂禮拜。

但是Oi生病後，一切都變得艱難。在這種情況下，孩子們似乎無可避免地要錯過教會崇拜。然而，信心和忠誠帶來了一個小奇蹟：其中一個孩子的父親挺身而出，自願在Oi未能出席時帶孩子們去教會。

相比他們堅持參加教會活動，·更令人矚目的是發生在這些孩子身上美麗的生命轉化。自從孩子們開始定期參加教會活動後，他們的父母和周圍的人都見證了他們身上奧妙的變化。他們變得更加平易近人，擁有良好的人際交往能力，學會了珍惜、尊重並聽從父母和長輩的指導，並且……更願意表達自己。

這是一個關於合作和共同心意的故事，強調照顧者的奉獻和父母的支持能夠培育孩子健康成長——不僅在身體上，也在思想和精神上……提供機會和培養良好的價值觀，真正為孩子的生活帶來有意義且持久的改變。

• 感謝你們為將加入蘭納事工的實習生祈禱。讚美神！8月3日，一位剛從大學畢業的年輕活潑的女子瑪娜Mana加入了團隊且適應得很好。Kook 和 Tar 將於 2027 年 5 月完成實習，為繼續多招一名實習生祈禱。

• 讚美神！實習生繼續練習閱讀和寫作，在幫助教學的過程中也不斷提升各方面的能力。Beam、Kook 和 Tar每週都能夠完成課程中指定部分的教學工作，表現出色。

• 為將於10月12日至16日開放給教師和有興趣的個別人士參加的蘭納材料開發工作坊禱告。

• 求主記念9月17日在蘭納中心舉行的祈禱之夜，希望能造福社區。

• 為團隊開始準備向牧者、領袖和教會成員推廣泰北聖經和語言的影片片段禱告。

威克里夫泰國基金會

謝謝您為5月25日至29日舉辦的威克利夫營會祈禱。讚美神！有 30 位來自六個國家包括泰國、寮國、美國、新加坡、蒙古和香港的參加者出席。我們很高興與您分享這份報告：

「與往年一樣，營會分為兩個階段。第一階段的重點是向參加者介紹上帝在各方面的工作，包括聖經翻譯、識字教育、「與聖經聯結」、教會植堂和社區發展。參加者亦有機會聆聽宣教士在不同地區服事的見證。」

其中一環的學習體驗就是小組一同參觀帕亞普大學 Payap University，了解宣教士在泰國服務的歷史。他們到語言學研究生課程和語言學研究所參觀，深入了解支持聖經翻譯事工的學術和實踐基礎。

經過兩天活動後，參加者前一個位於山區的苗族村莊 Hmong village，在當地苗族家庭留宿兩晚。期間，他們透過日常生活和社區互動，認識苗族語言和文化。他們還參與當地信徒一項實際的服務項目，幫助村莊教堂的新洗碗區澆置混凝土。

感謝以下幾位營友的鼓勵性反思：「這次營會讓我更深刻地認識到宣教的重要性。過去，我們蒙古人騎馬西徵，征服四方土地。但這次營會給了我新的異象 —— 今天，我們像昔日的蒙古人再次西徵，但這次我們帶備出發的是福音。我們旁邊就是遼闊的哈薩克斯坦 Kazakhstan。我們開始為那裡的人民禱告。」— 普亞Puya。

「我非常感謝今年能夠參加這個營會。我之前一直想來，但始終沒有機會。當聽說今年可以參加，我就立刻報名了。感謝上帝，讓我對祂的使命有了更深刻的理解。」— 金 Kim。

Eastern Lawa

Praise God that from May 29 - June 3 the Eastern Lawa translation team facilitated community testing for 1 & 2 Peter. This testing was done at the translation office and was enjoyed by everyone. The results were collated in a table and used to revise the translation of these books.

Praise God for these recent highlights

• Completed preparations for a consultant check for James.

• The team continues to use the Lawa songbook in local church gatherings, every time they get together. The translated scriptures are used when appropriate in Sunday morning or mid-week home groups.

• On May 6 a small children's camp was organized in Gong Loi village. Approximately 30 children came to the camp and had fun playing games, learning to read Lawa language and learning to play musical instruments.

Pray for the upcoming goals of the team

• Publish James after the consultant check, including recording audio and creating app and print versions.

• Consultant check 1 & 2 Peter.

• Draft and team check the Book of Acts.

Thank you for praying for two suitable people (external from the team) who would be willing to travel to MaeSai to participate as uninitiated testers for the consultant workshop in July. Praise God that three people travelled up to MaeSai for the consultant workshop.

Thank you for praying for literacy work to start back up in schools and also for adult  literacy classes to start. Continue to pray as there is no progress on this yet.

DRC - Bali

There have been some encouraging words shared from the Bali community! Mr. Amami, Administrator of the Bafwasende territory, said: "Translation work is good work but very complex. Without God's help… no one can succeed in this field."

Project leader Assongi wrote: “... the Bali speakers have started to experience a change in their daily lives with other families or clans with whom they were always in conflict, as the Gospel is now reaching them in their native language.”

Praise God for these recent highlights from the Bali language community

• Storybooks are being read in Bali within families. Prepared Revelation 12 - 22 for consultation. Besides, added 80 words to the dictionary file.

• Performed a check for 1 & 2 Peter.

• Bomili churches promised to cultivate a 50 square metre peanut field for next year.

Pray for the upcoming goals of the Bali translation team

• Review Revelation 12 - 22 after consultation. Consultant check and review for Colossians 1 - 4.

• Layout and composition for 1 & 2 Peter.

• Add Ephesians and 1 & 2 Peter to the app. Continue recording Ephesians, 1 & 2 Peter, sermons (5), songs (8), and hymns (5) in audio and add to the website.

• Plant and maintain the Bafwasende palm grove.

• Raise Bali literacy awareness among churches around Nia-Nia.

Pray with us

• Thank you for praying for reliable means of transportation for the translators. Praise God each of the translators received a motorcycle through a donation from a kind couple.

• Thank you for praying for the Bali literacy teacher, Pastor Bayasana Athanase, who continues to suffer from his stroke. Praise God he went to be treated at the hospital.

• Pray for the Ebola virus pandemic in the territories neighboring Bafwasende.

• Praise God the team is back online thanks to a new generator that arrived on July 16, 2026, as well as a Starlink charger. Pray for the stabilizer, which has not yet arrived in Bafwasende.

Northern Thai Lanna

Enjoy this beautiful story from the team “Within the warm community of St. Andrew's Church, Chiang Mai, there is a group of five children from the Lanna Kids Club who serve as beacons of hope. They began their spiritual journey by welcoming Jesus into their hearts, faithfully attending church every Sunday under the guidance of Oi (Lanna  project manager) who made sure they were always there.”

Their routine went smoothly until a challenging time arose when Oi fell ill. Given the situation, it seemed inevitable that the children might have to miss church. However, faith and dedication sparked a small miracle: the father of one of the children stepped forward, volunteering to take them to church every time Oi was unavailable.

What is even more remarkable than their consistent attendance is the beautiful transformation observed in these children. Their parents and the people around them have witnessed a profound change after the children began attending church regularly. They have grown into children who are more approachable, have wonderful interpersonal skills, learned to value, respect, and listen to the guidance of their parents and elders and became… much more willing to express themselves.

“This… is a story of collaboration and a shared heart and… highlights how the dedication of caregivers and the support of parents can nurture children to grow beautifully—not only in body but also in mind and spirit… providing opportunities and cultivating good values can truly create meaningful, lasting change in a child's life.”

Prayer Updates:

• Thank you for praying for those who will join the Lanna ministry as interns. Praise God that Mana, a lovely young woman just out of university, joined the team on August 3. Praise God that Mana is fitting in well. Continue to pray for one more intern to apply, especially as Kook and Tar will finish their internships in May 2027.

• Praise God the interns continue to practice reading and writing.  Praise God their capacity is growing as they help to teach. Praise God that Beam, Kook and Tar are all capable of teaching an assigned part of the curriculum and do it well each week.

• Pray for the Lanna Material Development workshop Oct 12-16. This opportunity is open to teachers and interested individuals.

• Pray for the prayer night at the Lanna centre on Sept 17 - that it will be a blessing to the community.

• Pray for the team as they begin to prepare video clips to promote the Northern Thai Bible and language to show to pastors, leaders, church members.

Wycliffe Thai

Thank you for praying for Camp Wycliffe May 25-29. Praise God that 30 participants attended, representing six countries: Thailand, Laos, United States, Singapore, Mongolia and Hong Kong.

We are happy to share this report with you:

“As in previous years, the camp was divided into two phases. The first phase focused on introducing participants to the various aspects of God’s mission, including Bible translation, literacy, Scripture engagement, church planting, and community development. Participants also had the opportunity to hear inspiring testimonies from missionaries serving in different contexts.

As part of the learning experience, the group visited Payap University, where they learned about the history of missionaries who served in Thailand. They also toured the Graduate Program in Linguistics and the Linguistics Institute, gaining a deeper understanding of the academic and practical foundations that support Bible translation ministry.

Following the two-day orientation, the participants traveled to a Hmong village in the mountains, where they stayed with local Hmong families for two nights. During their stay, they learned about the Hmong language and culture through daily life and community interaction. They also joined local believers in a practical service project by helping to pour concrete for a new dishwashing area at the village church.”

Praise God for these encouraging reflections from a few of the campers:

“This camp has helped me see the importance of mission. In the past, we Mongols rode westward on horseback to conquer lands. But this camp has given me a new vision—that today, we as Mongols can go westward again, this time carrying the gospel. Right next to us is the vast nation of Kazakhstan. We will begin praying for the people there.” — Puya

“I am so thankful that I was able to attend the camp this year. I had wanted to come many times before but never had the opportunity. As soon as I heard I could join this year, I signed up immediately. I thank God for helping me gain a much deeper understanding of His mission.” — Kim

“Although I have been living and serving alongside missionaries, this camp helped me understand the work of mission in a much deeper way. It also showed me how I can personally take part in God’s mission.” — Dao
